Road trip in France – Mont-St.Michel (April 14)

There’s a famous little town on a little island where you can walk only during low tide. Well, nowadays you can go there any time than to a bridge. But I can imagine how could it be a long time ago.

The visitor car parks are around 1.5 miles from the mount. From there you can approach the island by shuttle bus or on foot (but it can be really hot during summer). The buses operate every day at regular intervals between 7:30am and midnight.

Alternatively, you can book a special horse-drawn carriage.
