Once upon a time in Liverpool

there was a team. Well, there is a team! 🙂 After a thrilling, nerve-racking, mind-wrenching, joyful, tearful, unforgettable season we finally got the trophy parade. This team was close to winning everything. The unimaginable (it’s not unimaginable anymore) quadruple. We all know what happened and we were laughed at because after that Champions League final we went (approximately 600000 people) to celebrate anyway. Because the team deserved every cheer, we, the fans deserved to be together one more time at the end of the season and the opportunity to show how grateful we are. Because we are.

Some people say it’s just a game. Well, it is a game but it’s much more. Every time when I was able to get a ticket and went to the Anfield Stadium I felt this togetherness. If you feel the atmosphere just once, you become addicted.

Yesterday I’ve entered a ballot for 7 games with my little boy, who became a diehard RED. 😀 Well, upbringing is an important thing, right?! Please keep your fingers crossed for us!

If you are not a football fan (or not a Liverpool fan… please stop reading) the city is still worth a visit for its beautiful architecture, the music, the amazing docks, and the kindest people in the UK. You may say I’m biased. You are right! 😀
